Successful Events 2012

Thursday, December 13, 2012: T.A.R.A., Inc. held another spay/neuter clinic with Will Spay Pets! This clinic was only open to the Town of Montgomery, including Walden and Maybrook and the Town of Crawford. The cost was $25 per cat. We spayed/neutered 83 cats. We want to say Thank You to Will Spay Pets and to all involved on this day. We are so happy to be partnered with such a great organization.

Thursday, November 29, 2012: T.A.R.A., Inc. held a spay/neuter clinic at The Natural Pet Center at Ireland Corners. Peggy’s Safe Haven for Cats hosted this clinic! We spayed and neutered 60 cats. It was another wonderful day for the cats and all involved.

Tues., Wed. & Thu., Nov. 27, 28 & 29 - Ruby Tuesday's Giveback Event for T.A.R.A. We want to thank everyone that attended this event to support our organization and also Ruby Tuesdays for inviting us to participate in this event.

Thursday, November 15, 2012: T.A.R.A., Inc. held another spay/neuter clinic at Hi Tor Animal Care Center in Pomona, NY. The clinic was a great success with 86 cats spayed or neutered in one day. WOW! Another fabulous day for the cats in Rockland County! Many Thanks to all involved!

Thursday, November 1, 2012: T.A.R.A., Inc. held another spay/neuter clinic at Hudson Valley Humane Society in Pomona, NY. We had 39 cats spayed and neutered today! As always, we are so happy to be able to help the cats in Rockland County!

Thursday, October 18, 2012: T.A.R.A., Inc. held another spay/neuter clinic in Walden, NY. Town of Montgomery and Will Spay Pets clinic was a great success and another record breaker for us, 99 cats spayed or neutered in one day. WOW! This clinic was for Walden, Montgomery and Maybrook residents only. We are so happy to have a contract with the Town of Montgomery and Will Spay Pets! Many Thanks to all involved!

Thursday, September 20, 2012: T.A.R.A., Inc. held another spay/neuter clinic in Fishkill, NY. We are very happy to be working with Sound Earth and Katmarroon, Inc. and are looking forward to our next clinic in Fishkill. We spayed and neutered 38 cats!

Thursday, October 4,2012: We held another successful clinic at Hi-Tor in Pomoma, NY! We spayed and neutered 94 cats. A new record for T.A.R.A., Inc. We would like to Thank the Hi Tor staff for inviting us to their facility to help out with spay/neuter in Rockland County!

Thursday, September 6, 2012: We held another successful clinic at Hudson Valley Humane Society in Pomoma, NY! We spayed and neutered 39 cats. We would like to Thank Ann Marie and staff for inviting us to their facility to help out with spay/neuter in Rockland County!

Thursday, August 23, 2012: We had another successful clinic at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center with 80 cats spayed or neutered. We would like to Thank the Hi Tor staff and everyone that came out to have their cats fixed. Together we can make a difference for the animals!

Saturday, August 18, 2012: INTERNATIONAL HOMELESS ANIMALS' DAY! To raise awareness about the pet overpopulation epidemic! We held another spay/neuter clinic with Warwick Valley Humane Society on Saturday August 18th in Warwick. The day was a great success with 46 cats getting spayed/neutered! WVHS did a fantastic job putting this event together in honor of International Homeless Animals Day! We are so pleased with the Town of Warwick and the Village of Warwick for supporting this fabulous event that was started by the International Society for Animal Rights, www.isaronline.org. We are also so happy that the Town and Village of Warwick, Village of Chester, Village of Greenwood Lake and Orange County Executive Ed Diana signed an official proclamation recognizing this day as International Homeless Animals Day! WVHS held a candlelight vigil that evening in honor of all the homeless animals and they had a wonderful turn out! It was a pleasure and an honor to be a part of such a wonderful event! Thank You to all involved!

Tues., Wed. & Thu., Aug. 14, 15 & 16- Ruby Tuesday's Giveback Event for T.A.R.A. We want to thank everyone that attended this event to support our organization and also Ruby Tuesdays for inviting us to participate in this event.

Thursday, August 9, 2012: We held another spay/neuter clinic at Hudson Valley Humane Society in Pomona, NY. It was another succcessful day for the kitties of Rockland County, 53 cats spayed and neutered. Many Thanks to all involved!

Thursday, June 28, 2012: We held another spay day at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center in Rockland County. The day was a great success for all involved. We spayed and neutered 51 cats! As always, it is a pleasure to work with Hi-Tor and we are very happy to be able to help the kitties in Rockland County!

Thursday, June 14, 2012: We held another spay day at Hudson Valley Humane Society in Rockland County. The day was a great success for all involved. As always, it is a pleasure to work with HVHS and we are very happy to be able to help the kitties in Rockland County!

Saturday, May 19, 2012: Girl Scout Daisies Troop #60702 visits T.A.R.A., Inc.

We were very happy to have the girls visit and they were very excited to see our clinic. The girls were very interested in our operation and asked alot of wonderful questions. We are hopeful that they will all pursue careers in the veterinarian field or in animal rescue!

The girls were very excited to see Dr. Felty use the stethoscope. They also were shown how we prep a cat for surgery with the mask on for anesthesia. Dr. Felty demonstrated on a fake stuffed kitty!

We also had several carriers on the clinic with stuffed animals in them for display, and we are happy to say that they were all adopted by the girls at the end of the day. We had an absolutely enjoyable day. Thank You so much for visiting!

Thursday, May 17, 2012: We had another successful clinic at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center in Pomona, NY, 68 cats spayed and neutered on this day! Many Thanks to Hi Tor staff and volunteers for your dedication and hard work in coordinating these clinics once a month now! We are very pleased to be able to assist in your efforts to control the feline population and help give them a better life! Spay/Neuter is the only responsible answer!

Thursday, May 3, 2012: We had another successful clinic in Walden with Will Spay Pets. We spayed and neutered 69 cats. We are very happy to be in collaboration with Will Spay Pets to help the kitties in these towns!

Saturday, April 28, 2012: We had another successful spay/neuter clinic for Warwick Valley Humane Society. We spayed and neutered 38 cats. Many Thanks to WVHS and all the people that did the responsible thing for their kitties!

Saturday, March 31, 2012: We spayed and neutered 52 cats at Fishkill Cares for Cats in Fishkill, NY. We were very happy to be a part of this wonderful event! We want to say Thank You to Ann LaGoy of Sound Earth and all involved for making this another successful day for the cats! Thursday, March 8, 2012: We held another spay day at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center in Rockland County. The day was a great success for all involved. We spayed and neutered 58 cats! As always, it is a pleasure to work with Hi-Tor and we are very happy to be able to help the kitties in Rockland County!

Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012:

We held another spay day for the Town of Montgomery residents sponsored by The Town of Montgomery and Will Spay Pets, Inc. The day was a great success for all involved. The town residents got their cats spayed for $25.00. A grand total of 78 cats, 28 females and 50 males, left the clinic altered! Another terrific day for the Town of Montgomery, we are very happy to have their participation in our special program.

Thursday, February 9, 2012: We spayed and neutered 46 cats at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center in Pomona, NY yesterday. We are very happy to be in collaboration with Hi-Tor in an effort to help curb the pet overpopulation problem in Rockland County. We want to say Thank You to all involved for making this another successful day for the cats!

Thursday, January 26, 2012: We spayed and neutered a total of 44 cats at Hudson Valley Humane in Pomona, N.Y. We want to say Thank You to all involved for making this another wonderful day for the cats! T.A.R.A. received this letter from Hudson Valley Humane Society Executive Vice President Ann Marie Gaudio.

Thursday, January 12, 2012: We spayed and neutered 54 cats at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center in Pomona, NY yesterday.
